Fall Registration Day

Happy summer everyone! As we prepare for the coming school year I want you to know that we have updated our website calendar with many dates and events we hope to be able to do with our community in the coming months. Much more will be added as the year progresses. We acknowledge that some of our plans may have to be modified depending on the health orders mandated for our school in the coming months. We are currently preparing not only and exciting curriculum for students but for the safety protocols being put in place by the Ministry of Health.

If you are new to our area or have a child you would like to register at Grindrod School for the coming year, I want you to know that we have a designated early fall registration date set aside for this purpose. The date is Tuesday, August 31st from 9:00-2:30. If you are unable to register in person at the school on this day please contact us by phone at 250-838-7579 or by email at gri@sd83.bc.ca to indicate your interest in registering. We would be happy to contact you and set up a time to register at a different time. Please bring your child’s birth certificate and card card as the school district requires copies of these documents for our registration process.

Also, If you know of anyone who was a student at our school last year but has subsequently moved over the summer, please contact us as this will aid in our class configurations for the new year.
