Movie Night and Tent City Fundraiser

On Friday, May 4th, Grindrod Elementary hosted their annual Movie Night and Tent City Fundraiser.  Tent City is a school camp over event where grade 5-7 students are invited to bring their tents and sleep over in the gym after the movie.  Students had a great time playing hide and seek in the school and various “outside in the dark” games.  As part of the event, each student made a donation to the fundraiser which was in support of the Gary and Erica Baker family.   In all the event raised $635!  Thanks to everyone who contributed and especially to the students who were terrific participants!
