School Bus Driver Appreciation Day - April 15, 2026

April 15, 2026, is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in BC  

On School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our school bus drivers for the care, professionalism and dedication they show each day.

Our drivers are often the first school staff members our students see in the morning and the last ones they see at the end of the day. They help set the tone for a positive school day by greeting students with kindness, consistency and care.

We also recognize the professionalism and patience our drivers have shown while safely navigating the significant construction zones throughout our district. Despite changing road conditions, delays, and detours, they continue to put the needs and safety of students first.

Thank you to our school bus drivers for the important role you play in supporting students and families every day.  Your commitment to providing a safe bus ride for every student does not go unnoticed.
